Season Sixteen's music video premieres in US broadcast

The Sixteenth Series' main song and music video emerged for the first time, in an American televised broadcast.

The half hour block entitled, Don't Give Up compiled the episodes Percy and the Calliope and Happy Birthday, Sir! for transmission on local PBS stations.

During which inbetween, the 73rd song, Thomas and Percy played out to viewers. It incorporated elements of pop, jazz and rock 'n' roll into the mix.

The music video was joined up using scenes from the Animated Series' lifespan, pre Blue Mountain Mystery.

It has so far already attracted mixed to negative reviews with many individuals praising the instrumental and backing vocals.

However the lyrics have been criticized for its use of formulaic repitition, the aged established relationship between Thomas and Percy and bringing the expected Steam Team routine into the final cut.

It is currently not known who vocally performs the tune, although theories have suggested that Sam Blewitt may have been involved as the lead.

Last three 'Thomas Story Time's silenty brace covers

The final triple helpings of the Thomas Story Time book line now have recieved their front covers.

After the silent treatment given for the other trio receiving the same effect, Edward the Hero, Thomas and the Piglets and James to the Rescue's identities have been secretly published.

All are variants of Nitrogen Studios' original engine promo shots, this time mixed in with an individual story's background.

Edward's one however has been pushed inward at an angle against the summer countryside backdrop.

The six Thomas Story Time titles from Egmont hit UK book shelves starting from August 6th before Snowy Tracks debuts on September 3rd 2012.

Paxton broadens as own Take-n-Play set is announced

Paxton the Young Diesel is growing in involvements within the Thomas series as a tied-in Take-n-Play set is produced.

The engine, who will mark a lengthly speaking role in Blue Mountain Mystery is starring in Fisher Price's product, Twist & Tumble Cargo Drop.

Unknown to be related to the forthcoming Autumn special, Paxton participates in carrying a load of iron to and from the Smelters Yard.

The set's plot speaks; Paxton has an exciting job to do at the Smelter's Yard. Send the iron cargo down the ramp and into the smelting furnace. As it twists and tumbles its way down, Paxton zooms to the bottom to pick it up!

The bundle pack is foldable and able to be carried as a portable item. The tags tell; Send cargo down ramp... Paxton picks it up at the bottom!

Mara Wilson appearance shocks The Nostalgia Critic

Thomas and the Magic Railroad actress, Mara Wilson made a surprise turn in on a recent episode of internet series, The Nostalgia Critic.

Doug Walker who is the creator and stars in the web program, criticizes movies that have been panned mainly in a comedic and negative attitude.

However in his May 1st review of the 1997 flick, A Simple Wish, Walker went to extreme lengths to blast both the film and one of the main stars, namely Wilson.

Walker has had a history with Wilson for commenting on the lack of acting talent that Mara produced in her career, leading to a personal apology to the actress being made on her facebook page.

In a surprise turn of events, Mara, now 24, appeared as herself near the end of the review, exacting revenge on the critic by humilating him in various ways.

The highlight garnered surprises by viewers and fans alike but praised Mara's showup and grudge. Her last film of Thomas and the Magic Railroad ultimately led her to diminish her acting career.

She has since reflected on The Nostalgia Critic, her past times and even Thomas on the website, Mara Wilson Writes Stuff.

'Blue Mountain Mystery' books collect cover reveals

The two main books attributing to the Blue Mountain Mystery feature-length special have recieved their front covers.

The Movie Storybook and Sticker Activity Book's arts were recently divulged by amazon.co.uk.

Both to be rolled out for release in the UK this September, the two share the depictions of Thomas and Luke as the main stars of both the books and film.

While the sticker version attains cut out promo shots of the supporting stars including Owen, the story interpretation retains the drafted DVD variant for its face.

Blue Mountain Mystery: The Movie Storybook and Sticker Activity Book both hit UK book shelves on September 3rd 2012.

Three of six 'Thomas Story Time' bindings published

At least three of the six Thomas Story Time books aiding the third part of the range have had their arts uncovered.

Through hidden pages, fronts for Percy's New Friends, Thomas and Scruff and the Christmas Special, Snowy Tracks were published by Egmont recently.

The later half of 2012 witnesses the books' releases in August whilst Snowy Tracks is delayed for at least a month to make way for the Christmas season.

The six Autumn titles from Thomas Story Time hit UK book shelves starting from August 6th before Snowy Tracks debuts on September 3rd 2012.

Tin puzzles and wall applied activities appearing soon

Activity type products will appear in the United Kingdom from the Spring to the Autumn periods.

Ravensburger have created brand new 35 piece puzzles depicting Thomas and his friends in television series adapted situations.

Coming in round tins, Carnival at Night and Snowy Day are the only two items in the new range to be released as of yet, both on May 30th.

MeadWestvaco on the other hand have taken to publishing the latest calendar for the next year. The 2013 Calendar born for a July 15th date for each month mostly shows scenes from the Fourteenth Series.

Lastly, Portico Designs, who deal with the full constructions of character based designer products are responsible for an upcoming 2013 Sticker Wall, due September 1st.

The four products hit UK shops from May 30th to September 1st 2012.

Quartet of books for UK and US from 2012 to 2013

Three United Kingdom books and one United States title are to be released from Summer 2012, right the way up to the beginning of 2013.

amazon announced the quartet where the first selective for Britain arrives in July 2nd. Tick Tock Clock! starts the ball rolling which has been developed for just a measly 12 pages.

The explanation says; Lets you have fun telling the time with Thomas on a busy day in Sodor. This title also lets children of all ages enjoy clicking the clock hands and answering fun questions about Thomas' day. 

The Thomas & Friends: Annual 2012 resumes the trend on August 6th and adheres to 72 pages.

Totally Thomas! coming September 3rd is a 20 page board book which holds a limited amount of activities.

It tells the following; This is an enormous fold-out book packed with stories, puzzles and games! Totally Thomas! is more than just a story book.

Push any of your own toy trains along the enormous pull-out play mat, race around the Island of Sodor with the Big Race game, get busy with all the puzzles and activities and then settle down to read the exciting story.

Finally for the USA in next year's January 8th is the suggestive Thomas and the Shark. The Step Into Reading paperback takes up 32 pages worth of content.

'Thomas Story Library' returns once more as a collection

The axed Thomas Story Library book series is to be reprieved from cancellation, one more time.

Unsurprisingly, no new titles are to be made, but a collection of some of the stories used in the character line-up have been compiled for a compilation edition.

Thomas' Favourite Tales includes six exciting Thomas the Tank Engine stories, as evident on the hardcover's front.

Also seen is profile pictures of James, Thomas, Henry, Edward, Emily and Percy. The sextet are subjected to feature.

Exclusive: Nick Jr. responds to glitches on episodes

nickjr. have responded to complaints about Thomas' half hour shows on their channel in the United Kingdom.

Recent re-runs of the New and Animated Series thirty minute blocks were subjected to interludes from the shows' songs aiding the wrong video picture.

At times, an episode's audio would play off synchronization until an end came into practice before reverting back to the right synced screen and sound.

nickjr. have now told Roll Along Thomas that the issues are being resolved and that more of the televised products shall be corrected to their original mastertapes.

We're sorry about the technical problems which have occurred during a few episodes of Thomas the Tank Engine recently.

We have re-checked a large number of episodes and so far have only found problems on a couple of episodes, which should by now have already been fixed. We hope that there won't be any more problems.

The childrens broadcaster however want viewers to get in touch in helping the problem; Of course if you should spot any, please do feel free to let us know.

A note of the date and time that you were watching is particularly useful, as well. We obviously want people to enjoy our programmes as they were meant to be seen so it upsets us too when something goes wrong.

Several instances of mistakes occured in the live broadcasts such as an infamous moment where the song, Thomas, You're the Leader played in the background whilst the episode Charlie and Eddie ran through.

'Blue Mountain Mystery' unravels all things Winston

The Blue Mountain Mystery minisite has released Winston the Track Inspection Vehicle into the atmosphere of the interactive Blue Mountain Quarry.

The small open roofed car, who contributed to the Season Sixteen finale episode, Happy Birthday, Sir!, can now be recognised with Thomas fans even more.

A minor clip of him originating from the latest extended adventure is accessible. In it, The Fat Controller pilots him jerkily round a rail bend before the vehicle greets Thomas.

Shown in a full on head view, a colouring page is also presented. Via the Engine Depot, a poster and a birthday card carry the character's identity.

Witnessed from the countdown calendar, Owen the Incline Traction Engine will be the next newcomer to be elaborated in less than a fortnight.
