Thomas special officially coming to Blu-Ray

For the first time in Thomas' DVD history, the upcoming special Misty Island Rescue will be the first Thomas related DVD to appear on Blu-Ray.

So far, it is not known when the Blu-Ray version is released although it is likely that possible extras from the DVD will be carried over to the Blu-Ray in HD.

It is also not known if the HD Thomas since 2007 and Season 11 will appear on Blu-Ray.

Misty Island Rescue hits UK DVD shelves on October 12th 2010 followed by a Blu-Ray release in the US.

    All those Thomas Fans with ps3s and Blu-Rays are gonna be very lucky :)

    I might buy a PS3 or a Blu-Ray player if the Blu-Ray version comes out to Aus.
