Egmont have published rare artwork from the Rev W. Awdry Estate in a limited edition book as part of the 65th Anniversary celebrations of Thomas the Tank Engine.
The book features a special introduction with eight pages of rare material, including Awdry's original sketches of Thomas and Gordon, a tracing of Thomas, a sketch made by Awdry for the illustrator's guidance, the wooden model of Thomas which Awdry made for his son Christopher Awdry, plus four more rare photos.
