Emneth couple's celebration for Awdry centenary

A couple from the town of Emneth where the Rev. W. Awdry wrote some of the Railway Series books are to have an open weekend.

The weekend is ideal for Railway Series, Thomas the Tank Engine and Model Railway fans where a big G Scale railway will be on show.

Also on show will be photographs, tours, raffles and displays including an Awdry signed copy of a Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends book.

Mark and Flo Thatcher's open weekend celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Reverend. W. Awdry will start on June 11th and 12th at the Old Vicarage in Church Road up in Emneth, UK.
