Sir Handel joins inspired episode set from TrackMaster

Sir Handel also known as Falcon in his early years is taking the starring role for a new playset by Fisher Price's TrackMaster range.

Based on the Season Five television series finale episode, Rusty and the Boulder, Sir Handel takes on the role of the innocent engine running for his life.
Boulder albeit faceless meanwhile, chases the blue Narrow Gauge Engine after dropping off his mountain perch.

With Sir Handel's task to reach the crossing gates in time, this attributes to the set's tagline; Can Sir Handel dodge the runaway boulder?!

Runaway Boulder from TrackMaster is now available in stores worldwide.

Thanks to SteamTeam for the alert.

  1. Odd that they chose Sir Handel, since he wasn't in that episode.

  2. I'm really not sure. I think, like TheUnluckyTug pointed out, if it was a BMM product it would have the BMM logo. I just think its one of those random sets that's been inspired by "Rusty and the Boulder".

  3. It could also have to do with Season 16.

    1. If it was a S16 episode, it would've said 'Inspired from (insert episode here)'

@ Bram – There was a different Boulder Mountain TrackMaster set a few years back that included a flip-face James, so at least Sir Handel is a more accurate choice than that. Besides, Rusty is already included in the recent engine-powered Coal Hopper destination.
