KET Channel details first US Season Sixteen broadcasts

The Kentucky Channel in America have become the first broadcasters revealed to screen the Sixteenth Series of Thomas & Friends.

The 2012 premiered episodes will air in half hour blocks, continuing the style trend first seen in the Animated Series' 2010 stint.

Tieing in with the moral messages, the stories have been mixed up to fit in with the naturistic feel. The thirty minute shows plot in two tales each complete with an Animated music video and Down at the Station filler.
Race to the Rescue and Bust My Buffers! star in Chuffing With Pride and Ol' Wheezy Wobbles with Thomas and the Sounds of Sodor participate in All Together Now.

Thomas and the Rubbish Train and Sodor Surprise Day take If a Job's Worth Doing, Thomas Toots the Crows and Muddy Matters have Fun on the Farm whilst Percy and the Calliope and Happy Birthday, Sir! join Don't Give Up.
The last five blocks of A Friend in Need, Winter Surprise, Communication, Let it Snow and Just Being You are to consist of the final ten episodes altogether which have yet to be named in the schedules.

Season Sixteen of Thomas & Friends premieres in the US, every Saturday at 9:00am on KET. Repeats occur on Saturday May 12th at the same time once the series has finished screening.

Local PBS stations across the country begin transmissions through April where broadcast dates may vary.

Japan will screen the series every Sunday on NHK starting from Sunday April 8th 2012 with the episodes トーマスときゅうこうれっしゃ and トーマスとソドーとうのおと at 7:00am and 7:20am respectively.

The latest series will return for one more day in Australia on ABC2 during Christmas 2012 with the episode, The Christmas Express.
Channel 5 will also air The Christmas Express in Britain circa Christmas 2012.
