TrackMaster repaints Rheneas to 'Blue Mountain' theme

Rheneas is heading back to the TrackMaster merchandising range ahead of the release of Blue Mountain Mystery: The Movie.

The Talyllyn Railway based engine also marks a returning point for the Wooden Railway franchise by Learning Curve as the mysterious Repainted Rheneas.
The portrayal has since been picked up by Fisher Price's motorized railway series as revealed by a Buy It Now auction happening over at ebay.com.

His blue lining and overall appearance for the film's promotion has been compared to Duncan, whom is yet to take on a revived presence in Thomas & Friends.

Repainted Rheneas from TrackMaster hits toy shelves worldwide soon.

Thanks to Bass Tbone for the alert.

  1. This is a very mysterious model indeed. I hope we get some sort of hint as to why he's yellow soon :)Perhaps its during the flashback (the one where Victor's yellow)

    1. If it is a flashback, it is very wrong compared to sodor's "real" history

    1. It's not permanent, it can't be. Series 16 was written after BMM, and in every BMM clip we've seen - and his promos - he has his usual livery. It's definately temporary, probably to do with the days after Luke's arrival, as Victor shares the same yellow livery

  4. well if past stories are anything to go off. they might have ran out of His correct colour paints. Or they forgot some key past facts and made a HUGE mistake
