Exclusive: Hornby on their 'Thomas & Friends' future

British model train makers, Hornby will not stop creating original Thomas & Friends yields on their side for at least a year and a half.

Like Bachmann, the UK's leading HO Scale constructors shall not rest with tie-ing in the TV Series to real life model railway ideas.
In an exclusive by Roll Along Thomas, Hornby has summarised that confidence remains in their childrens themed department.

We are not aware of any plans to stop or discontinue the Thomas and Friends range.

While the releases for the 2013 range will be announced at the end of this year, we are confident the Thomas and Friends range will continue.

Hornby at the start of this year announced their 2012 products with limited edition units of certain Thomas stock, coming to fruition.

  1. The 2013 range will be announced at the end of the year? Should be worth looking out for.

But Hornby works to OO scale, not HO

  2. Well, it's great to know that they are still going to make more Thomas models. The 2013 range is going to be worth looking at.
