Second week of new episodes polished in schedules

digiguide have updated the episode guides for the second week of Season Sixteen, elaborating more on their respective summaries.

Thomas is confirmed to be part of the first three shows of the period whilst Gordon and Diesel both join two episodes individually.

Den and Dart will return from their stints in Season Fifteen and Day of the Diesels to star in the fourth story of the week with Percy already in the last.
Flash Bang Wallop!
The engines on the Island of Sodor are excited! A photographer has arrived to take photographs for a brand-new book.

All the engines want to have their photographs taken for the book, especially very grand Gordon! When Thomas finds out, he decides to be in more photographs than him...

Thomas and the Rubbish Train

It's Thomas's turn to work with his good friend Whiff the Rubbish Engine! He has to be Whiff's back engine and push a very heavy rubbish train, but Thomas is happy to help.

But when he also agrees to take the Duchess of Boxford to tea later that day, Diesel teases him that he will be far too smelly after working with Whiff to take the Duchess.

Thomas is worried as he huffs and puffs along with Whiff. Then he has an idea.

Thomas Toots the Crows

At the farm, Farmer McColl needs help. His scarecrow is so old, he has to send it away for mending.

This means there is nothing to scare away the crows and they are eating all the seed he has planted in his fields! Farmer McColl doesn't know what to do. But Thomas does!

Bust My Buffers!

Gordon the grand engine doesn't feel so grand when he bashes into some trucks at the docks and his buffer falls off!

When he arrives at the dieselworks, Den and Dart are worried - Gordon doesn't have a buffer and all engines must have one of those!

They offer to give Gordon a yellow-and-black diesel buffer while his own is mended, but Gordon is horrified! He is far too grand a steamie for one of those!

Percy and the Calliope

Percy and Diesel have been given a very unusual job. They are to pick up a very heavy, old musical steam organ called a calliope, and take it to the smelter's yard to be melted down. Percy has never seen anything like it before.

He has never, ever heard of such a thing as a 'calliope', so he decides it must be very special! Percy likes special things, so he decides to try to save the calliope by making it work again.
