'Toy Train in Space' re-do promotes Portuguese Thomas

Popular YouTube video A Toy Train in Space has been remade for Portuguese audiences in a new commercial.

Promoting the country's dubbed version of Thomas & Friends for Canal 5, the TV spot sees a young boy upset at losing his Wooden Railway Thomas after a paper round launches the model from a see-saw to the boy's home roof.

Sharing the child's feelings overnight, the toy eventually lands back on to the ground after a storm looms. Uploaded by the Thomas e Seus Amigos YouTube, the trailer takes inspiration from Ron Fugelseth's A Toy Train in Space video.
Both Ron and his son Jayden along with their Stanley model became stars in the media and on television when the now four million hits viewed clip reached viral status around the world.

Meanwhile, the brand's foray in Mexico has elected Hit Entertainment to bring the show to newer audiences, with actress Galilea Montijo fronting the push.

My son Mateo loves Thomas, and when I was invited to be part of this project, I immediately said yes, she said.

Thomas and Friends is not only about fun but also about its stores that are full of positive messages and values for our kids, like friendship, teamwork and that we are all capable of achieving great things.

Stanley launched in space for successful YouTube video

A YouTube clip featuring a Thomas Wooden Railway model has become a literal global hit.

A Toy Train in Space sees a son's father attaching a model of Stanley the Silver Tank Engine onto a balloon, leading to the two, coupled with a high-definition camera, to be floated into outer space.

The out of this world move dedicated to his son was made by Ron Fugelseth who works as a creative video director in California, USA.

The clip uploaded on September 20th has since made a massive impact on audiences with the real life experiment clocking up an astonishing excess of 900,000 views on YouTube within a few days of release.

Publicity has also been mounting with The Huffington Post, Thomas & Friends and PIXAR and Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich all tweeting about the video.

I love these videos SO much. @RonFugelseth goes right to the front of the awesome dad line, @leeunkrich said.

We love this video featuring Stanley traveling to space. The video was highlighted in this morning's USA Today, @TrueBlueEngine followed.

AudioGO's YouTube Channel adds 'The Railway Stories'

AudioGO have uploaded snippets from The Railway Stories CDs on their official YouTube Channel, AudioGOUK.

The BBC Worldwide owned company formally known as BBC Audio, enlisted the few minutes of previews from nearly all of their titles at the start of this July.
The near three minutes of free listening come from not only the Michael Angelis spoken word albums, but also from The Great Discovery abridged Pierce Brosnan audiobook.

The first volume of The Railway Stories which contained The Three Railway Engines, Thomas the Tank Engine and James the Red Engine, is notably absent in the uploads.

AudioGO confirmed in June that plans were underway to continue making another Rev. W. Awdry spinoff work for an untimely release in 2013.

Hit Entertainment pulls own Season Twelve uploads

The company uploaded the complete US versions of the Season Twelve stories onto the video networking website last Friday in early April.
They have since been mysteriously pulled and privatised with no explanation given.

Hit game-changes own YouTube uploads with episodes

The official Thomas & Friends YouTube Channel manned by Hit Entertainment has made a refreshing change to their video uploads.

Rather than resorting to presenting clips from episodes set in the Animation state, for the first time, full television stories have emerged on the channel.
Thomas and the Billboard and Steady Eddie are so far the only two episodes to feature in their entirety on the social video networking site from Hit themselves.

The move has surprised fans but has gone down well in reactions. It is not currently known if the childrens character branded company will continue with the trend.

The ten minute shows from the Twelfth Series are portrayed in 16:9 Widescreen aspect ratio, in their original 720p HD appearances and narrated through the American forms by Michael Brandon.
