'Sodor Sounds Track Pack' teases different playset kind

A different type of TrackMaster merchandising has been created by Fisher Price for the Thomas & Friends range.

In perhaps a hark back to older toy lines, Sodor Sounds Track Pack is a fresh set that doesn't include an engine at all in the packaging.

The change is largely due to the inclusion and the focus on a station which makes industrial sounds alongside crowd control cues, even when Engines activate station sounds by treading on a small red switch on the track.
 
An oval type layout is constructed using 17 pieces of wooden track including a points system and a Stop Ahead sign that attaches to the platform. Fan theories have suggested that the stock reminisces an ERTL product.
