The preview showing the opening two minutes of the episode sees the narrow gauge engines hard at work at the Blue Mountain Quarry.
This then leads to a conversation between Rheneas, Toby and Thomas at night, setting up the plot of the story.
Michael Brandon narrates while Ben Small, William Hope and Martin Sherman voice the characters.
The clip itself was used to promote the American DVD release, A Very Thomas Christmas which features four Christmas themed tales from the Sixteenth Series.
The latest series will return for one more day in Australia, the United Kingdom and America on ABC2, Channel 5 and PBS stations respectively, with the Christmas Tree Express in Christmas 2012.

ReplyDeleteOh great! The "Winter Holidays/Christmas" controversy continues! Just when we thought it was all over...!
ReplyDeleteI know, but even then, it's just not fair they remove the name "Christmas" in the US. If you have Santa Claus and Christmas trees, then it's Christmas, and always will be, no denying it.
Delete"I think Misty Island is strange and just a little... scary"
