Season Fünfzehn arrives onboard Toggo Lino train

The Fifteenth Series is preparing for reactions from outside of English speaking countries with Germany now the first to broadcast.

The first episode of the 2011 Series has just aired on SUPER RTL's Toggo Lino slot with the James to the Rescue episode, known as Die Rettungs-Loks, being made the debuter.

Thomas & Seine Freunde's facebook page have published it's commercial showing various clips from certain stories such as Tree Trouble, Stop That Bus! and Big Belle.

Season Fifteen of Thomas & Seine Freunde is currently showing on SUPER RTL's Toggo Lino at 8:40Uhr on Monday to Friday's with the next episode Glücklicher Hiro airing Tuesday.

See the nine big promos in the sheds

Eight large promotional shots have been found all the way from Germany with an extra thrown in from America.

The double quartet of images below come from some of the amazon.de Thomas Ravensburger puzzle products.

At least two of them are episode stills which have had significant edits added onto the duo.

The last is from Gilt.com showing Thomas and Percy in the Christmas spirit with The Fat Controller as Father Christmas which references Gilt's items currently on offer for the season.

New songs CD announced for Christmas release

A brand new CD featuring a mixture of songs from the New and Animation series' is due for December.

With a total of eighteen songs added, All Star Tracks is certain to be one of the presents due on Thomas fan's Christmas wish lists.

Five of the tracks come from the Eighth Season followed by two from the Ninth, three from the Tenth and seven of the eight different genre's from the Animated and The Great Discovery.

The description reads; The all-new CD release from Thomas & Friends, the #1 Preschool property, features new songs from the latest DVD titles, Day of the Diesels and Misty Island Rescue...

As well as never before released music from the popular television series, including the theme songs, 'Roll Call,' and 'Go, Go Thomas.'.

All songs are expected to be in their full length versions rather than their reduced two minute forms. A few of the songs have not been given their proper titles which are noted on the above list.

The CD which is originally for the US is successfully imported for the British with both release dates occuring at the same time. It is produced by label Red General Catalog.

Salty tells fans tales of the seven seas

Take-n-Play's Talking series range is to have another addition to it's cast in Salty the Dockside Diesel.

With Diesel 10 on his way, Salty is not only the next engine to join, but ironically is of course another diesel to tag along.

Voiced by Keith Wickham for both the UK and US television shows, Salty will spurt out phrases such as; I'm Salty! Har, har! and I have lots of tales to tell!.

Brendam Docks' resident engine is currently on auction on ebay.com with three more copies of him still available, all the way from Hong Kong.

Take-n-Play Talking Salty arrives in stores worldwide soon.

Galliers shows off arty unseen treasures

Rob Gauld-Galliers who served as Art Director for Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends for Season One to Six and Thomas & Friends for Seven has presented some interesting imagery from behind-the-scenes.

Galliers who also worked on the Jack and the Pack spinoff shows during his last stint on the whole show and the above was responsible for some of certain character's looks.

His first image shows concept art for Spencer with the next being Nelson and Oliver from The Pack. One showing Max has been seen before via the Official Thomas & Friends Japanese Website a few years back.

A storyboard later includes drawings for The Viaduct set incorporating Thomas and three coaches. Afterwards a photo of a sunset backdrop with Galliers present by it at Shepperton Studios can be seen.

Interesting to note, concept art shows a proposed equivalent to Nelson the Transporter with Nigel the Transporter.

Nigel is now being identified by fans as one of The Pack members, a twin or brother to Nelson and a supposed replacement.

However, Nigel never made it to the model stage and the series as he was dropped for reasons of uninvolvement. He is painted green with red and white linings and cream coloured yellow around his base.

Moving on, Robert gives fans more sightings with more art, this time for Japan's Thomas Land theme park with a Water Mill attraction. A note by it reveals; Tiger Moth left out for clarity.

Finally a storyboard presentation for scenes from Season Five's finale episode, Rusty and the Boulder is revealed.

Daily Record Thomas DVD's giveaway begins

The Scottish newspaper, Daily Record today have begun sending the first of their Thomas & Friends promo DVD's to the public.

Unknowingly, the order for the titles are differed, as seen on the chain's website banner, compared to the bbfc's reference codes.

By purchasing your copy of the day's newspaper, a token is available inside to redeem the specially selected title which can be claimed in either of these Scottish shops; McColl's, RS McColl's and Nisa.

Only those of the Scotland public will be able to claim the DVD's whilst the British and Irish population who want the chance to own them will have to wait until copies on ebay surface.

You Can Do It, Toby! & Three Cheers for Thomas has been reported to have been available for the November 9th 2011 paper.

The Daily Record's free second Thomas & Friends DVD is available in today's Friday November 11th 2011 newspaper and will continue with the last five from this coming Monday to Friday.

Third 2011 Series DVD confirmed by Fisher Price products

A fourth DVD release containing episodes from the Fifteenth Season has been revealed via a recent product.

A new Take-n-Play set by Fisher Price called Thomas at the Fair is based on the negatively appreciated episode, Wonky Whistle.

On it's packaging at the top, a logo reads; As Seen on DVD. Below it confirms the newest home video title for the US; Up, Up & Away!

YouTube user SteamTeam has spotted that a previous product by the TrackMaster series has the same logo included too. The product in question is Up, Up & Away Percy.

The DVD expected for next year is already noted to have the above mentioned episodes although has not been officially confirmed by any online stockists or press releases.

Aside from it, the Thomas and the Fair set includes a model of Thomas, a yellow open truck with Katie, Farmer McColl's dog, a flatbed with some ducks and a blue open truck with McColl's cow.

milkshake!'s golden episode with golden lion

milkshake! Gold's DVD has been out for sometime in the UK with the Thomas & Friends episode included in it revealed.

The episode comes from 2010's, The Lion of Sodor of the Thirteenth Series and the second in it's season.

The notable word of Gold can refer to the golden Lion of Sodor statue that Thomas is enlisted to deliver to Knapford Station in the above mentioned episode.

milkshake! Gold is available now on UK DVD shelves.

Amazon issues 'POP! Goes Thomas' book cover front

amazon.co.uk have published the cover art for the upcoming Season Fourteen, 10 Minute Tales book.

POP! Goes Thomas is the third book in Egmont's annual range after Thomas the Hero in 2010 and Thomas' Story Time in 2011.

It is adapted from the Fourteenth Season episode which is also the main star of the UK and US DVD releases.

The description reads; Thomas is taking lemonade to the school picnic in the Whispering Woods.

But when he goes over some bumpy track, the bottles fizz up and the corks pop out - causing trouble all over Sodor. Can he put things right in time for the picnic?

The title is in a Paperback format and contains up to 32 pages with Read aloud, read alone and read along features.

Confirmed: Sixth feature-length special named for 2012

A sixth feature-length special is on it's way which has been confirmed by an online magazine.

The magazine known as Toy World includes an article on upcoming projects from Hit Entertainment, one of which is Thomas related.

A quote reads; Hit Entertainment will be highlighting a number of key Pre-School brands, including number one global Pre-School brand Thomas & Friends.

The following confirms the title of the next special; The highlight of 2012 is the release of the Thomas & Friends direct to DVD special the Blue Mountain Mystery.

On the subject of tie-ins, Toy World reports; The biggest ever tent pole release with the greatest ever number of licensees on board, producing themed products to help create major impact at retail.

Eagle eyed fans may notice that the words Blue Mountain can be traced back to Thomas Land's new ride which has the Narrow Gauge Engines but however is not confirmed as of yet as to what the special will focus on and who.

Blue Mountain Mystery is expected sometime in 2012 after the airing of the Sixteenth Series in the UK and worldwide, now slated for a Spring broadcast.

'Search & Rescue' the Thomas and Harold shot

A previously seen promotional image has emerged which features Thomas, Harold and The Fat Controller, with a couple of differences.

From Misty Island Rescue, the shot is set at the Sodor Search & Rescue Center with one thing noticeably absent.

The building has been completely removed however, the shot itself can be seen in high-resoloution.

TrackMaster delivers food, glorious food

The TrackMaster toy series is going another step further into the Rolling Stock theme with some different loads.

Brendam Shipping Co. based on the popular Brendam Docks location will come as a three-piece set, each containing a fishy delivery.

The description reads; Brendam Shipping Co. delivers cargo fresh from the sea including crates of fish and lobster. There's also a crate of ice to make sure the deliveries stay fresh!

Never occured in the TV Series before but another set is also due out with the Spaghetti & Meatballs Delivery pack.

The three trucks are painted in different colours which come as a normal truck, a container and a flat truck.

TrackMaster's two new packs are due out soon in stores worldwide.
