'The Big Book of Engines's in's and out's

Egmont have confirmed some of the other characters that will and won't feature in The Big Book of Engines book.

Contacted by SI3DFilms as to who else would be included in the book, Egmont confirms Duck, Oliver, Donald, Douglas and Daisy's involvement.
However, certain diesel engines are not included, those are Boco, Derek and D261.

The Steam Team, Arthur and Whiff are to be detailed in the book as revealed by amazon.co.uk

The Big Book of Engines is now available in book stores in the UK.

Thanks to SI3DFilms for the alert.

    I call shenanigans.

  2. I'm not getting this book for two reasons. The first is that I've read books 1-41 (and I'll be getting book 42 as well) and I've seen all 15 series, 5 movies and the Jack and the Pack spin-off. So I should have some idea as to what the Sudrian engines are like and how the Sodor railway network is.

The other reason is you're paying £9 (max) for a book that says it has every engine in it when it doesn't. Kids won't care as they most likely won't know who the omitted characters are. But for lifelong, die-hard fans, that's an insult.

  3. If someone could post a list of all the characters in that book that'd be great. I'm curious to see who else would or wouldn't be mentioned.

  4. I might buy it, but I am so sad BoCo isn't included. He has always been my favourite engine and it seems like he's trying to be shoved into oblivion. I'm at least glad he was included in the Thomas Library series.
