'The Lion of Sodor' is a No. 1 in the UK

In store via Tesco, The Lion of Sodor has been named the No. 1 DVD in the Family category.

The DVD which features four Season Thirteen episodes was released this Monday and has since then beaten rival shows such as Fireman Sam and Peppa Pig.
Not only that, but four other Thomas & Friends have also proved a success in Tesco's charts.

The Complete Series 12 is currently at No. 5, Season Fourteen's Wobbly Wheels & Whistles at No. 14 while last year's Misty Island Rescue and the Triple Pack hang in steady at No. 13 and 15 respectively.

  1. This is to prove the news on the internet that Thomas is needed the No. 1 pre-school show in the world then Peppa Pig along with the report about it earlier in this year.

  2. I think this proves that Thomas and Friends does have a bright future. Sure, season 15 was a road bump, but looking at this makes me fell more confident that our favorite blue tank engine will be around much longer. I would hate to see Thomas get canceled, but after reading this makes me feel more assured that it's not likely to happen.
