Film Journal International has added a small bit of info on Misty Island Rescue.
Their synopsis of the film is basically the same bit of info as seen on other websites other than it contains this bit; Together they discover secret hideouts, solve mysteries, and work together to get Thomas back to Sodor.
Misty Island Rescue hits theatres soon.
