Animated likeness Rusty appears for Wooden Railway

The animated version of Rusty due to feature in the forthcoming Blue Mountain Mystery film has been transformed for the Wooden Railway merchandising range.

Learning Curve's Thomas toy line will re-release Rusty in his computer generated likeness.
The TV Series partly showcased this in the form of the little diesel's animated face as seen in the Twelfth Series.

Notable changes to the original wooden model include the base around his newly implemented face being flattened to limit the free spacing by his face and more attention to detail on both sides of his boiler.

Rusty from Wooden Railway returns to toy shelves worldwide later this year.

Thanks to Nanaki for the alert.

  1. That looks very prtomising, as does Peter Sam. I hope Greg and his team work their magic with the narrow gauge engines like I think they will. Just a shame the writing will let them down...
